Thanks again for checking out our newsletter! This month we feature 3 publications, 17 resources, and 11 active research projects, all by TPATH members! We also share information about 23 academic jobs, 14 postdocs, and 6 non-academic jobs, as well as calls for papers, scholarships, and grants. Members may also be interested in our recent blog post, authored by Giancarlo Mori Bolo, on anti-trans legislation in Peru.
Vreer Verkerke is organizing for TPATH at the European Professional Association for Transgender Health Conference in Hamburg, ending on Sep 6. Make sure to look for them and check out the TPATH room.
As a reminder, we've switched over the newsletter platform from Substack to Ghost, and going forward, we will be distributing the full newsletter to TPATH members only (you may need to log in to see below the cut off), though all subscribers will see a short synopsis of the newsletter contents and, of course, all news posts (which we also post on Bluesky). We're currently considering feedback from members about how to handle newsletter access going forward, so stay tuned for further updates. If you'd like to see the news posts one week early, and give us some vital support, you can do so using the subscribe button here.
If you are trans, non-binary, and/or intersex and involved professionally in trans healthcare (broadly defined) you can join TPATH (or check your membership) here. Note that even if you are a newsletter subscriber, you might not be a full member, so please sign up at the website if you haven't already. Doing so will give you access to the Member Resources section of our website and social media/communication channels, and ensure that you receive the full newsletter. Membership is free.
We've also shut down the Facebook group and are encouraging members to migrate over to our Discord server for community discussion and resource-sharing (more on this in the Social Media section below).
Official TPATH pins and buttons are available for purchase in our Etsy store. All proceeds go to support our work. You can also donate to help us create this newsletter, hold our conferences, and act proactively on trans health issues now and into the future.
