Thanks again for checking out our newsletter! This month we feature 4 publications, 17 resources, and 21 active research projects, all by TPATH members! We also share information about 28 academic jobs, 8 postdocs, and 6 non-academic jobs, as well as calls for papers, scholarships, and grants.

TPATH is proud to co-sponsor the upcoming event Queer eRACEure: Rediscovering Li Shiu Tong via John Greyson’s Death Mask. Join us on April 14 from 4-7 pm ET online and at Glad Day Books in Toronto to watch John Greyson's new short film, Death Mask. This experimental opera reenacts the lesser known history of Chinese medical student Li Shiu Tong, and his lover Magnus Hirschfeld, a much older German sexologist and gay rights pioneer. The story, spanning the world and almost a century, asks us what we choose to remember and why. It reminds us that what may seem lost or futile now can find its way into the future through means we don't always understand, or even anticipate. ASL will be provided.

We've also made some recent changes to the way we communicate with members. We've switched over the newsletter platform from Substack to Ghost, and going forward, we will be distributing the full newsletter to TPATH members only (you may need to log in to see below the cut off), though all subscribers will see a short synopsis of the newsletter contents and, of course, all news posts. You can also check out our Bluesky.

If you are trans, non-binary, and/or intersex and involved professionally in trans healthcare (broadly defined) you can join TPATH (or check your membership) here. Note that even if you are a newsletter subscriber, you might not be a full member, so please sign up at the website if you haven't already. Doing so will give you access to the Member Resources section of our website and social media/communication channels, and ensure that you receive the full newsletter. Membership is free.

💡
If you're already a TPATH Member and don't have access to the post below, send us a message and we'll fix it for you.

We've also shut down the Facebook group and are encouraging members to migrate over to our Discord server for community discussion and resource-sharing (more on this in the Social Media section below).

Official TPATH pins and buttons are available for purchase in our Etsy store. All proceeds go to support our work. You can also donate to help us create this newsletter, hold our conferences, and act proactively on trans health issues now and into the future.
